“Loving Someone Who’s Not Ready: A Lesson in Letting Go”

🧠 1. Love Does Not Equal Readiness

Many people confuse chemistry for confirmation.
But the fact that you love them deeply doesn’t mean they’re your assignment.

Love is not enough when someone is emotionally unavailable, spiritually immature, or still addicted to confusion.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
— Amos 3:3 (KJV)

You can’t walk in purpose with someone who’s stuck in distraction.

💔 2. You Can’t Heal What They Won’t Admit Is Broken

You’ve given them love.
You’ve given them chances.
You’ve even given them your peace—piece by piece.

But unless they’re willing to confront their own wounds, they’ll just keep bleeding on the one who loves them most: you.

You don’t need to become a therapist in disguise just to be loved back.
Your love should be received, not resisted.

🕊️ 3. Stop Playing God in Their Life

You are not the savior.
Jesus already died for them.

You don’t need to:

  • Fix their past
  • Change their behavior
  • Wait endlessly for potential
  • Pray for signs they’re not even seeking

At some point, you must ask:

Am I staying for love or because I fear starting over?

🛑 4. Potential Is Not a Promise

Yes, they could be amazing… one day.
Yes, you see the vision.
Yes, you feel spiritually connected.

But potential becomes poison when it causes you to ignore reality.
You’re not called to wait for someone who’s not even asking God to make them ready.

If God has to keep breaking your heart to teach you this…
Maybe it’s time to surrender the lesson.

🔁 5. Real Love Doesn’t Confuse You

Love isn’t always easy.
But it should be clear.

God is not the author of confusion.
If you’re constantly:

  • Wondering where you stand
  • Feeling emotionally drained
  • Questioning your worth
  • Overcompensating for their silence

That’s not love.
That’s emotional survival.

🧭 Final Word: Sometimes Letting Go Is the Most Loving Thing You Can Do

Letting go doesn’t mean you failed.
It means you finally respected yourself enough to stop bleeding for someone who won’t heal.

You were not created to chase, fix, beg, or prove your worth.
You were created to receive love in truth, clarity, and alignment.

So if they’re not ready, bless them—and move forward in peace.

“Above all else, guard your heart; for out of it are the issues of life.”
— Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
